Stickers are very widely used when an object requires identification with a word or idea. Brand stickers may be attached to products to label these products as coming from a certain company. They may also be used to describe characteristics of the products that would not be obvious from simple examination.

All decals are stickers (but not all stickers are decal). A decal is basically a decorative sticker, generally used outdoors. They are a design that can be transferred from one surface to another and will have three layers: paper on the back, the decal itself, and paper on the front.

Vinyl stickers are stickers that are affixed to the wall or other smooth surfaces for decoration and informational purposes. They are cut with vinyl cutting machines. Vinyl stickers on their own aren’t waterproof. That’s why we laminate our vinyl stickers to make them waterproof. Laminating a sticker will protect it from water, oil and sun. Laminate is an overlay with a layer of plastic which is applied to protect the vinyl from the elements.
